Not in any particular order except Raising Arizona which is the second best comedy ever after The Big Lebowski:

Raising Arizona
Vacation
The Meaning of Life
Time Bandits
Stripes
Ferris Beullers Day Off
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Caddyshack
This is Spinal Tap
Heathers
The Blues Brothers
The Princess Bride
Porky's

I'd put Better off Dead in there I guess.

There are more, I gotta head home.

Lebowski and Raising Arizona are amusing movies, but Ghostbusters is just a great, great film. No comparison in my mind, personally. I'm guessing you think Fargo is also great, a movie again I think is amusing but not nearly as good as Ghostbusters.

It just seems you have a hard on for Cohen films to me, since that's the only explanation I can find for putting those two above Ghostbusters, and heck even a bunch of other movies on your list that are much, much better flicks than anything he's done.

Fargo was "amusing" it's my least favorite of "their" movies.

The Big Lebowski is not just the greatest comedy ever made but IMO it's the best movie ever made, period. Raising Arizona is only slightly below Lebowksi.

i liked Waiting.. but putting any of those 4 as best of all time is the same as putting linkin park up there or comparing britney spears to aretha franklin.

mediocre quality with 1 purpose, all 4 - slapstick with thoughtless plots used for pie in the face humor of this century.

A form of irony in which apparent praise conceals another, scornful meaning. For example, a sarcastic remark directed at a person who consistently arrives fifteen minutes late for appointments might be, “Oh, you've arrived exactly on time!”
