I looked. Unfortunately, was too cloudy here to see more than tiny glimpses of it. :(

Yeah we had scattered cloud cover as well so I only caught glimpses. I think Saturn and one of the starts in Leo was supposed to be prominent on either side of the moon as the eclipse happened, but of course there's so much ambient light in Atlanta, that I could only see the moon. Thank you for sharing the pictures.

yeah, it was Saturn & Regulas. Both were the only other celestial objects in the sky that I could see. Formed a slightly obtuse angle with the moon at the largest angle.

I just stargazed from the front of my apartment in downtown Columbus. There was just enough light pollution to make for a perfect viewing experience in my opinion. Everything else in the sky wasn't visible so it was just a dark velvet blanket with the three parts of the lunar eclipse.

Wasn't impressed. Went back inside to continue my spanish crusade against the muslim jihadists.

My kids thought it was pretty cool, had a good view in the detroit area.

They thought it was even more cool that they could see Saturn with your "plain eye". Saturn was the bright spot to the lower right of the moon last night. I guess you were suppose to be able to see the rings using a telescope (I didn't try that, 2F was too much for me :) )
