What makes me sad is that it's not that they choked the kid or dropped the kid or hit the kid and killed him/her. They let the kid sit for 8 days. He/she was tortured for every moment of life up until death. Very sad.

To be fair to gamers...they did mention they watched TV and did other things as well. It's not like they were locked into an 8 day raid in WoW.

My heart just breaks at the thought of that poor baby crying and dying while strapped into that carseat.

Well, not so much calling out gaming or wow specifically. The thread title is misleading, I was coinciding it with addiction. I'm lazy as they come at times but 8 days of leaving your child in the car? Lazyness couldn't possibly explain that. Had to be some kind of addiction, mental retardation, evil or something that kept them from getting up.
