Im Hosing an EMU Server!

PVP-Current setting is no Item loot.

Here it is, when you log in its one of the top servers highlighted in green, currently the server is the heaviest populated emu server with around 140 people on at any given time.

Original Models, Original weapon models, no pok, just oldschool EQ. All original Zones, no revamped, Hate 1.0, Original Cazic Thule Zone.

note: Nektulos and lavastorm files will need to be changed to .old in order to display the original zones, if you dont do this you will be stuck, info is on main webpage!

Boxing is limited to 2, this is forced.

The server is currently Original with no expansions yet, plane of hate and fear are up, and sky will be launched soon, then Kunark will follow after that.

The server speed is very good, zoning is very fast, all zones are up with plenty of room for more.

just got this all set up. pretty cool server. i like how it's original eq only. consolidates the short amount of players

I don't mind competition, but PVP in EQ was just terrible, all that's going to happen is i'm going to run around with my bard, charm a shit ton of stuff and throw it at you until you eventually die, and you're never going to be able to touch me

well i'm already about to give up because you don't start with anything at lvl 1. for a shadowknight that means i can punch for one dmg and the shit won't even die because it can regen faster than i can dmg. i just fought a black wolf for 25 minutes before i gave up and took it to a guard. is it supposed to be like this gronkus? because sorry but i'm not harm touchin my way to level 2

no, a GM took care of it. there's a bug where you don't start with a weapon and your newbie dude won't take your papers and give you a tunic. so you start w/ scratch. if you start a dark elf i now have two battle axes and i could hook you up w/ one :/


i also don't know what the teams are. seems guild-based but ir eally have no idea. you just can't train, corpse camp, bind camp, etc. etc. seems pretty restrained and fun pvp

yeah i agree. i wouldn't bank on it but that's how it seems. i haven't delved into it yet. it's pretty fun tho. i can't wait til i get some more gear etc. you can't dye gear so you can actually tell what ppl are wearing again.

the things i'm seeing for sale in ooc are split paw hide tunics, carnal pauldrons, ivory bracelets, adamantite epaulets, etc.... it's a trip

I wish they'd have worked harder on the Mac client for EQ. There's no reason why the two clients can't connect to the same server. Ghey.
