Dell Laptop

Postby Dylan » Wed Mar 26, 2008 9:47 pm

So almost two years ago I bought a Dell Inspirion E1505 Laptop and its worked perfectly for everything I want it to since I got it.

However, the infamous power cord that these laptops come with has finally died, and even though this series of laptops is years old, I still see dozens of reviews from 2008 that say the power cords are still junk.

Does anyone know of a reliable company that sells power cords that will work with the Inspirion E1505?

I'm willing to pay the $70 or so that Dell wants for their replacement AC adapter, but I'd like to get something that is going to last longer than a year.

Batteries and power adapters are how these companies make money on their products. They sell them so cheap these days that the only way to recoup costs is to make crappy accessories and charge a shit ton for them.
