anyone know if you can add an insignia of your secondary profession to your armor?

i am a warrior/monk, can i add monk insignias to my armor?

No you can not.
You can only wear the armor + insignias of your primary profession.

so i just finished hells precipice and capped 100 blades..... i am uber. i can now play hardmode. i only have prophecies which is a bummer, but plenty to still explore there.

When, and if, you decide to get the expansions, I highly recommend getting Nightfall first so you can get your heroes started. Also note, that you get extra character slots with Factions and Nightfall, but NOT with Eye of the North. Just FYI.
