Trust me, lifelock is bullshit ~ I know because I spend about 10 hours a day working on Idenetity Theft prevention programs.

The only thing lifelock does better than it's competitors is marketing. And now they're being sued by everyone under the sun.

But congrats for buying into it without actually knowing what the benefits of the product are. Suckers are born every day I guess.

I don't have lifelock, but I must say that their marketing does make it rather enticing. I'm cutting back on spending on anything and everything until I get my house.

They sell quarter million dollar homes to people who have no visible source of income.

That doesnt really matter, Tikker. AS long as you keep a steady income, and are in the same line of work, or have switched jobs to make more money is what matters. That and credit.

nah I think you guys aren't as fucked up as we are because you don't have our politics. though I do think canada has some issues of its own that are pretty fucked up. (hi baby seals, wtf kind of people approve of that kind of thing?)

anyhow, 24 months at the same job would hurt a lot of the younger people to get their first starter home. we came to Jacksonville as a temporary thing, not to live forever. that's the beauty of being young.

we're looking to buy a house now (not here), and I haven't been at this job but just under a year; I moved to this job straight from a job I loved but I only worked there for 4 months or so and still do small jobs on the side for them. I got offered a 4 dollar an hour raise to come here, would make me pretty much an idiot not to take it, and I'd be pretty pissed off if I got blackballed and couldn't buy a house because of it. my credit score is close to 780 and I've always had a steady source of income, always paid my bills.

I'm in a contract position which could never be but so long term. there are lots of people who work as contractors as their career.. are they never supposed to buy a house because their employer always changes?

For the amount of money they make I could put my heart away and murder baby seals.

I might actually enjoy it for that kind of money.

it's not a stupid hard and fast rule where moving somewhere for a big raise, while having a great credit score would invalidate you for a loan

I'm more referring to showing a pattern of not being able to hold a job

lots of people hurt animals for pelts sure, but government approved and regulated flat out torture is another story.

I dunno the rules you guys have there - I thought you were saying you have to be employed from the same employer for x amount of time before you're approved for a mortgage loan, maybe I misinterpreted~

This upcoming July I will have been driving a truck for 2 years. I was also a carpenter for 4 years, sold Audi and Volkswagens for Lithia for 2 years, I was a cop for 3 years, and a silk screen printer for over 10 years. Again, I ask you... WTF are you smoking?

A salesmen put in a resume to me this week wantin a job. Hes 45, and has worked for like 15 or 16 different companies in the past 25 years. I cant help but laugh at that. Why in the FUCK would I want to hire a guy who doesnt stay with the same company for more than a year at a time?? How can he find a fucking job anywhere for that matter? He seemed like a smart guy who would have beena good salesmen for me with lots of contacts and shit, but godamn, 15 jobs in 25 years? Thats a fucking joke

Sounds like he has a problem admitting to himself that he wasn't cut out to be a salesperson.

if you don't consider seal clubbing torture, where do you draw the line for cruelty?

how is it any different from how pigs and cows are killed?

how is it any different from catching fish with a hook thru the mouth/gills?

Actually Mindia hes a damn good and well known salesmen with a LOT of good contacts from bein in the coal business for so long. But I really hate job jumpers like that. Someone that can show so little loyalty to anyone like that just annoys me

pigs and cows, when slaughtered properly, are stunned and knocked unconscious before they're killed. that's not the same as bashing brains in, which can take numerous attempts and is inhumane. The hunters don't always verify that they're dead before they skin them.. if that's not torture I don't know what is. I mean we're not talking about something that just PETA protests.

I'm actually rather shocked that anyone who knows anything about the seal hunt compares it to proper cow slaughter. As for fish, it's a completely different argument. I don't personally fish because I don't like the idea of it, but arguments have been made that fish lack the brain capacity to experience pain from it.

are you really oblivious to a whole list of countries protesting and proposing seafood trade boycotts with canada because of the seal hunt? I mean I don't understand how it's news to you that the way they're slaughtered is considered inhumane.

cows and pigs get a bolt (like a rivet) to the head. there's nothing about stunning before hand

I've been in the abbatoir while it's happening

there's no difference between killing seal cubs and young beef (veal)

it's just the fact that people see the seals as "Cute" that it's suddenly a horrendous offense to nature
