Anyone else prepaid/ordered for this yet? I already got my cool little figurine.

I never prepay, but I'll be picking it up August 3rd.

Whats the figurine? Some lil warped space alien?

The doom 3 tunes sound cool.. Can hear a bit of it here:

Shame about the co-op though, I was looking forward to playing with Taryn.

Knee Deep in The Dead was my first PC game and I should be getting my (Doom 3) copy right when her laptop comes. I want to see how she reacts =D

Suprisingly enough, it's rumored that the game even looks great on a GeForce 4MX.

I think any game now a days should include co op mode.

I'm really looking forward to Doom 3... Although it'll be tough to top Farcry.

I rarely ever prepay for a game but it was only 5 bucks to reserve my copy at gamestop. Yeah it's one of the hell beast things. I'm kinda bummed about the no co-op play. I'm looking forward to this one, it's been a while since I felt that old excitement of a game that could only come from something new brewing from id software.

I already upgraded my computer on my meager pittance. Although, I must confess it was half for Doom3 and half for HalfLife2.

Try and say half more times than that in a sentence halfwit.

my 2.6 P4 with ATI 9700 Pro is still going strong for gaming. I see no need to upgrade it, since its plays everything well...

Part of me wants to buy this, though.

Yep me too, that was my plan when I upgraded mine. I'm all ready for both. I'm glad they aren't coming out at the same time, now I can throughly enjoy both games without having to share my time between the two haha.

Lyion go to cyberpower.com. That is where I got my computer. They build kickass systems BETTER than Dell and just as cheap with better quality parts and more customizability (is that a word?).
