In March 2008, a controversy broke out concerning Barack Obama's long-term relationship with Wright, his former pastor.[26][27] ABC News found several racially and politically charged sermons by Wright, including his suggestion that past U.S. policies were partially responsible for the September 11 attacks, his statement, "God bless America... No!... God Damn America...for killing innocent people...for treating her citizens as less than human," and his assertion that "the government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color. Some of Wright's statements were widely interpreted as being deeply offensive. Some have noted that Wright's quotes had been taken out of context, including in one case, where Wright was allegedly quoting Ambassador Edward Peck. Some have also noted that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. made similar comments about the imperialistic nature of American foreign policy and claimed that America was the "greatest purveyor of violence in the world today", and at another point King stated: "America was founded on genocide, and a nation that is founded on genocide is destructive."

    From Wiki.

That touches on the couple main things he said, however, after his "show" at the NAACP dinner, Obama has moved to divorce himself from Wright. Which really pleases me, as apparently neither of these guys can just let it go, they're going to stay in the media for weeks or months over this supposed controversy.

Personally I couldn't give two shits what Obama's current former or past preachers say or have said. But I do like to see his campaign implode.

ETA: The number of people I've heard on National Communist Radio this week who've called in to say they are no longer supporting Obama is extremely entertaining.
