It just sucks for the NBA that deceitful teams like Boston win in the end. The NFL dodged a bullet but it seems the NBA didn't.

I think the comparison is a bit off; the NFL dodged the bullet, sure, but in all fairness, their debacle was this season.
The gripes you have about Boston occurred last season -- this isn't the same team, albeit some of the same roster and the same coach. This team worked hard for their championship. This team deserved everything they got. I still don't agree with you that losing and not playing your best is cheating, regardless of if it is or is not viewed as a bad thing to do to your fans, but whether I agree with you or not, you're talking about two different seasons, so you're talking about two different teams. These players deserve that championship this season, and like them or not based on decisions of their upper management I don't think it's really fair to discredit that.

LA lost and deserved to lose. they were not as good a team and Kobe bryant could have won 2-3 more championships if he hadn't gotten shaq booted way back.... so boo fucking hoo for kobe.
