BSOD fun!

So yah, the blue screen of death. I am having some issues on my computer with it. I have gotten 2 seperate error codes, the second one that will be listed is one that i just now got for the first time. Aside from the BSODs i have my computer just randomly reboot itself. It will do this 3 or 4 times before it stops, and im able to stay at desktop. I am thinking it might be a heat issue for that, but not sure on the BSODs. The BSOD messages are these.....

I am checking other places, but wanted to know if anyone had run accross these before. Any help would be appreciated.

Run AVG, you prolly have a virus.

Just as an off the cuff, it could be a problem with your memory going bad. No idea for sure though.

It's writing to an address in memory that it is unable to write to.

The likely scenario is that you're physical ram is going bad.

The unlikely scenario is that the page file has been corrupted or the size has been modified. A chkdisk will correct the page file situation.

Simple solution: Get new ram.

Aside from swapping out the ram to see if its bad, is there a way to test the RAM?

reboots are generally bad ram (my laptop does this occasionally)

could possibly be a heat issue causing it as well (more like it's cooked the ram)

there's lots of ram testing software out there

you usually have to do it in dos tho

If you have two sticks of ram, it's usually pretty easy to figure out the bad one by just removing one and seeing if you still have the issue.
