i think a lot of americans this day and age, deep down, are libertarian. they just don't really know what the libertarian party is or what it stands for.

anyway i clicked no vote, don't care. i almost cared. for a little bit. i just can't get into politics sorry. i just view it as this huge beast that needs to be put to rest but it never will be. and i have nothing to do with it. and politics hasn't directly affected my life in any way, other than changing my mind-set because i read about something that happened really far away and it made me sad or happy or whatever. or because the gas prices went up where i live. or whatever. i don't really care about that sort of thing

I found out that write-in votes in NC don't even get looked at unless they are for a certain prescribed set of candidates. This makes me sad since Ron Paul isn't one of them.

I'll be voting for either Bob Barr (ew) or Chuck Baldwin (lesser ew but still ew) since their ewiness factor is still MUCH less than the main candidates.

People have to go out and petition door to door for it. I don't remember how many signatures it took.

Since Ron Paul didn't want put on the ballot, no one petitioned to get him added as a viable write-in.

I think most of the "Independents" on this board were Bush republicans that are now voting indie because the republican party has become such a fucking embarassment. They'd rather claim indie now than admit they were fucking STUPID enough to vote for Bush. At least Gyps admits her mistake and realizes how wrong she was.

It also does technically violate the following rule:

* Signature images cannot exceed 200k in file size.

Now, no one's said anything cause no one has complained and it hasn't been a problem, and it is pretty cute. But, now with at least one person who it causes real problems for, and at least one other comment... Well, I'm not going to go all mod'dy on you and demand you change it, I'll leave that for Mart if she wants to enforce that, but I'll just say you might want to consider it.
