After 3 years/63 hours of grad school

then

3 years of full time internship

i took my National Counseling Exam and PASSED!!!!!!

I will now be licensed and don't EVER have to go to school or take an exam

Sounds like you have the same licensure as my dad. That's what I was going to guess but figured I'd just ask instead. Do you plan to open your own practice or no?

Danka all... and no, i won't be opening my own practice b/c i simply don't have the capital, it is equivalent to opening a small business with all of the risk associated with it, so i will be finding a job ASAP. i have been getting paid so little that it shouldn't be hard for me to get a 10K + raise.... i started out aroud 7K less than a starting teacher in Texas with a master's and a 1 year experience. /boggle

I need a new therapist. Now that I'm done with PTI I don't have to see one anymore, but I think I'm just going to anyway. I have to find one I can be honest with.

Group therapy is the best thing that has ever happened to me as far as my drug problem goes. Just being around other people with the same problem and being able to talk about it is great. Maybe that would be a road you can look down! There's a lot of practices out there and its a field that from what I can tell will always be growing hehe
