josh has been playing this whilst waiting in his queue in wow, and he really enjoys it. i don't think he's planning to buy it yet, though.

I love it. It's not Call of Duty or anything like that. It's a survival game that does a really good job of keeping you uneasy and frantic. It's just a good change of pace from all of these cookie cutter FPSs.

I like the atmosphere and the pacing but there isn't much satisfaction in blasting the zombies. When they swarm on you, you just fire randomly in all directions and somehow they all die but it's unclear exactly what is happening.

Dead Rising is more fun for me... then again I've only played the first mission so far. Individual shots don't seem to matter all that much.
