I'm not really a fan of theirs and feel they've become a parody of themselves, but Master of Puppets is easily on my Top 5 Metal albums of all time.

And, I must admit to liking the album they did with the San Francisco Symphony.

But their new material has been crap, indeed.

I have heard that their latest album might be vastly superior to anything else they've put out since Justice, but I haven't heard any confirmation from anyone I trust.

You can probably say that about most iconic bands.

Metallica's first five albums were ridiculously awesome. That is quite a run considering you would be hard pressed to find a band that can put out TWO albums in a row that are good.

I really dont listen to Metallica at all anymore but I have the sense enough to recognize they are probably the biggest and most celebrated metal band of all time.

Just got a chance to play Rock Band 2, win.

There's actually some good shit on there. I was the only one in the house capable of singing Lamb of God, so I just fell into it. I didn't even know that was on there.
