I was literally reading a book while walking home from school one day and I had someone knock the book out of my hands and beat the shit out of to the point where I didn't know where I lived when the police found me. It was because I was white wasn't it?
Or maybe it was because the kids who did it came from broken homes whose parents abused them.

Regardless of what the underlying reason was I remember Bella Vista in Oakland being very much a quarter chinese, a quarter African American and a quarter hispanic. The "black kids" would beat up on the "chinese kids" because one of the kids ratted out one of the black kids for something regardless of whether or not I was involved. My asian super powers didnt manifest until the eclipse and I wasn't able to shoot lasers out of my nostrils till then.
