Well you said "if you can post a good song" that is passing judgment. There isn't an if. What I like is what I like, and the same goes for you.

Hey, perhaps you're right, and I've gone overboard with my assumptions, it wouldn't be the first time for me. That said, you only just now "asked" :).

That said, here is a handful:
What's your fantasy
Splash Waterfall
Move Bitch
Two Miles an hour
Get Back
Number One Spot
Stand Up

However if you don't have his albums you would be missing a fair bit of comical content. Some of his albums have as many skits as songs (not every album mind you).

As for KRS-One, I never made a comparison or said one was better than the other. Again I don't stick myself in one genre, my likes for music are all over the board, except for country, there are very few country songs can I really "take".

all i know of del is what he guested on gorillaz albums but i do think he's pretty good

that being said i think the only actual rap i own is:

  • busta rhymes - extinction level event
  • busta rhymes - "woo-hah" maxisingle
  • onyx - "slam" maxisingle
  • kris kross - totally krossed out!

unless you count crossover rap, in which case:
  • puya - fundamental (salsa rap metal from puerto rico lol)
  • judgement night - music from the motion picture
  • the first RatM album

special shout-out to my favorite dub-rock-rap group, 2 Skinnee J's. here's my favorite 2SJ song, Pluto. some of the lyrics are flubbed, but you get the idea. if you enjoy it, check out some of the live videos (especially those from the  farewell  show)

Pompous cunt. Not ATCQ? No JBeez? No Afrika Bambata? No Kurtis Blow? Ice T? Run DMC? Way to be fresh to the plate and slurp up the shit of the 90s.

i said j dilla. that's basically ATCQ. now if you wanna talk about an AWESOME hip-hop group w/ a sense of humor, it's ATCQ. and ice T invented gangster rap so he's pretty sweet. and the rest, except honestly i've never heard Kurtis Blow.

i also like East Flatbush Project and JVC Force a lot. and Mantronics. and Adagio, J Force, Poor Righteous Teachers, All City, Tony Touch, Dwele, Slum Village, t3, Nujabes, Tsutchie, Fat Jon, Brand Nubian, Sadat X, blah blah blah I could talk about it forever. if it's jazzy i prolly like it

Kurtis Blow...

Gave Rev Run his break into the hip hop world.
Most well known for: The Breaks & If I Ruled the World.
Proved hip hop could be a commercial venture and brought it to everybody.

no lie. when i was 12 i spent a whole summer detasseling (look it up if you don't know) so i could afford my first stereo, a sony bookshelf that i still have. to celebrate, my dad bought me two CDs that i wanted: Nirvana - Nevermind and Kris Kross - Totally Krossed Out

though i loved both CDs very much at the time, you can see which influence eventually won out :hiphop:

i think if i go somewhere today i'll pull out the ol' Kris Kross CD and blast it on my subs haha

Yeah and also there's no mistaking Luda for anyone cuz he says "LUDA!" on almost every track =P

Actually, I think Luda is pretty good. Just don't pick up a Luda CD and expect anything profound. Expect a few club bangers and some funny ass lyrics that are very distinct and creative.

I know *who* Ludacris is. I just don't recognize him by face.
