How does PVP work? How many people are on the server?

it is RVR just like warhammer except its 3on3. i just started here so im a whopping level 10 so i have not had any real rvr experience. if you ever played dark age the rvr is alot more interesting with a third faction thrown in the mix. there are different kinds of keeps. some have relics that give your realm a slight edge.

be aware that this is a german server but it is english friendly with about 500 people on peak

Is there alot of griefing going on? I just left Grokus' EQ server because I got sick of not being able to get xp for five minutes without having to run back and get my corpse because some jerkoff has never seen a vagina.

this isnt open pvp it is realm based team warfare. so unless you actively go into the PVP areas (these are all gated so you cant do it accidently) your going to do pve content till at least level 20. now if you decided to do some hunting in the pvp areas of course you are going to get ganked

not sure if you played warhammer or not but this is very very similar since its the same company that developed it. it is an older game so dont expect blow your mind graphics or amazingly awsome combat. since it is team based the best part of daoc is the community since everyone has to rely on everyone else for defense/offense of the keeps and towers in the realm wars

the fun part about free emulation servers is that it is easy just to create another account... went to albion realm where i have a cabalist.. if anyone plays just say hi to inconi and ill toss you some coin to get started

got a few friends playing now.. including my ex.
new character is Valtis on midgard. i am staying in the newbie start guild since im not really into being uber or anything and just want to have fun.
i can craft armor for newbies and everyone else on the server is really fantastically helpful to new people
