You're going to start getting some good dots soon. Mana is a real bitch at that level though and it doesn't get smoother and more efficient until the 40s.

Group if you can, it's a fucking breeze in dungeons.

at what stage are bards at in this game?

is it the good old twisting bards that could stack effects? or the later more gimped version

I loved my bard back during Kunark. I'd imagine it's much like that there.

I believe my bard was my first character. I even met Darcler on it, when she wasn't a cleric. I know, ridiculous memory. My bard's name was Daelik I think. And hers was Crystul lol

I went from Bard, to Warrior, to Cleric. Then I pretty much mastered every other class over the years except wizard, they're boring as fuck.

ok folx...I broke down and rolled up a character...I doubt Ill be able to give you much more than a few hours a week, but it is embarrassing when you are walking around and remember exactly how to get to Nqeynos from zone in. Or the little farming spots that noone ever went to.

PVP in EQ was an afterthought and favors a few classes and completely ignores others.

It's not balanced.

The main thing in PVP is your MR.....If you got good MR your gonna kick mages and wizzes asses~ plus you have to poopsock a 2box all the time so just choose a shammy/druid and then your choice of main char.

Tallon/Vallon Zek AKA. "Garage Box" has recently been shut down due to inner turmoil.

It was found that Gronkus was using the server box to play call of duty 4 on in his basement. Searyx then started a huge flame war which has lead to the on again off again issues there. It is now believed that the box is dead forever.

RIP Garage Box.

i was about to post here about that. Sorry guys, i tried the server and it wasnt for me >< Too many douchebags

I am actually playing on one of the servers that prety fun. Called the EZ Server. But its not super easy, like some of the other customs where you auto start with super armor and 100k hp. You have to progress your wy through, and thats lots of fun sidequests, like upgrading epics through tough quests, ect. xp is 4x...aa is 5x. so theres goes the main time sink

And when I say epics, i dont mean anything even remoely related to how you got the old epics with that ridiculous long quest. One upgrade for example, is going to PoTime and killing all 10 bosses, and combining pages in a book from a boss for it. Stuff like that. I dont know how to explain it any beter.

But its not really at all like old eq, more like a fun, updated new version where theres no timesinks and camps, but there are decent questlines, for good items, well, the best items, the Fighters and caster guilds quest, you have to go back and camp the old school items, like 15 of em, stuff like fbss, ssoy, Stuff like that. that actually require playing for. And online at any given time is about a 100 people, tops

Gah, and actually, now that youre server closed, theres a half a million jerkoffs from that server coming over now and fucking ours up.

But, Whats fun for me, may not be for others /shrug. Ive been tearing it up in hotel rooms for the past weeks lol

ps my war is epic 3.0, which means I can breeze you through all the first epics and quests and shit. If anyone wants to give it a try
