You're trying to both look at the big picture and then focus specifically on very minute details at the same time. That doesn't make for a good analogy.

But at least you get my point. I don't think anyone else has, yet. Which is quite sad, really.

I think everyone gets your point. Your point is "I'm right and you're wrong, so you're a moron."

I, for one, never said the earth was an organism. My very first post in this thread was to say even if it wasn't an organism, it can still fall under the 'other' definition. You immediately dismissed me anyhow, because I disagreed with you. Arlos is nice enough to waste his time with you hoping to convert you to sensibility, so you assume he "gets your point." He basically said "even if it wasn't" and gave another explanation, just like I did, albeit more eloquently and with a more concise point. I wouldn't be too flattered by it - he still tries to play nice with Mindia, too. Arlos is just an exceptional person in that. I think the rest of us finally decided the two of you are lost causes.

PS - for the record, I haven't said anything rotten to you in months, probably more like at least a year. You're just really being a douchebag here.

It's because it's me. People argue with me whether I'm correct (like now, irrefutably) or not.

Even though I said I was done, I lied /laugh

Historically the problem I seem to have with you is your recurring blanket statements and refuting those statements made by you are responded to in a way that is very unflattering. You typically just spew (as I do to) with no fact (unlike myself) and fire out short one liners where often times it seems you're only looking for a rise from someone. I don't ever recall you saying you're wrong, I don't ever recall your acceptance of another's perspective.

You feel you are right and that any and all that disagree are wrong.

That is a very limited perspective and when you grow up, you'll better understand what you're missing.

The funny thing here is, you are so utterly predictable, I already know your response before you hit your keyboard.

For what I hope is closure on my part, the limited information I have provided, does not stem from "me". There are many in the scientific community that agree with me, I'm not alone in this regardless of your opinions. I do however respectfully, agree to disagree with you.

I honestly can't even believe this many of you hold that ludicrous belief.

I'm going to bring it up on some other forums and see the results. I hope this ridiculousness isn't widespread.

It certainly isn't here. (With few exceptions of course...)

The point is to get an opinion other than from the few here who are so out of touch with reality it's staggering.

I.E. you...gaia is our host lawl. I seriously hope that was tongue-in-cheek.

Gaia was the lady that gave the planeteers their rings. She's voiced by Whoopi Goldberg.

It is true for the first few seasons I believe, then it was taken over by someone else. Rumor has it that Tom Cruise was the originally intended Cpt. Planet.
