Holy Fawking Shit!

Postby Narrock » Fri Mar 20, 2009 11:18 pm

I did a little research on that Brazilian Wandering Spider they found in a Tulsa, OK food warehouse. Check this out! :ugh:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_wandering_spider

Although rare, there have been instances of the spider depositing its nearly microscopic eggs in the ears and other orifices of human beings.

Then watch this video clip:

They're surprised people killed it? lawl

I don't kill anything with the exception of fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes, but I'm not the norm. Everyone I know kills spiders, even harmless ones, on sight. I personally love them. They eat pests.

Now if only they could kill off drug dealers with the same efficiency. Hired Arthropod Assassins...hmmm.

if a spider makes the mistake of making itself visible anywhere near my bed, it must die. i'll tear my whole room apart to find the fucker. if they stay away from my bed, i typically won't kill it and let it go about its business.

house centipedes are KOS no matter what. those things give me the willies.

I felt one crawl across my bare foot when I was sitting at my computer desk the other day. It was just a common house spider, but I executed him immediately.

this applies to any spider seen anywhere in my apartment. all other activities cease indefinitely until i have spider guts smeared all over my shoe/wall/weapon.

Friend of mine grew up in South Australia, which has some pretty unique fauna. One that he said he got the most freaked out by is called the Giant Gippsland earthworm. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gippsland_earthworm) This is a worm that can be 3 inches wide and 10 FEET long...

He said his garage in the house he grew up in had a dirt floor, and one of the most freak-out thing he ever saw was going out into that garage late at night with the lights out, to find this huge giant THING squirming in a mass on the floor: one of those earthworms had crawled out of the ground and was in his garage writhing and coiling on the floor. The fact that the lights weren't on and he could only see it dimly in moonlight through the windows....

Me, I think I'd have run screaming and shouting something about C'thulhu invading if I saw that. bleah.

Hmmm, so it eats pests and is harmless to humans. You should probably just kill more of them...

I make my woman kill spiders whenever seen . They giveme a mega case of the willies. Tug on the other hand will kill spiders and pedes with his bare hands.

Also i would rather drug dealers than giant spiders running around any day of the week.

Drug dealers are just like anyone else harrison, some do it for the cash some do it for the life some have morals some would kill you for a quarter. I think the reason they are so scummy is cuz crime attracts crime. Make drugs legal scumbags go out of buisness and then there is no need for giant spiders.

Continue on with the spider talk now.

I'm with Harri on this one. I kill spiders only when my girl friend demands I do so, otherwise we live in perfect harmony. They stay away from me and kill other bugs and I leave them alone.

One day, many years ago, I was settled in watching Nightmare Before Christmas, when I see something jiggle my blinds. Im thinking "wtf" so I continue watching. Then, all of a sudden, a HUGE bug comes on to the wall. It looks like some King Cockroach. Like you could have put a saddle on it and rode it around. Well, I'm trying to think "omgomgomgomg how am I going to get rid of this". So it was hanging out on the wall above the hallway, so I got a broom and let loose some Xena yell and ran toward it and tried to smoosh it. Didnt work. Ran further along the wall, then under the countertop.

I left the house and slept at my mothers.

Don't grab a broom, grab a shoe. Big snow boot even. That or one of those big oversized coffee-table books. (or even a really big hardback, like one of the Harry Potter books or something)
