haha, that was awesome

While I'm waiting to buy right now, I'm staying at the in-laws farm

they have a border collie (like the ones in the video) as well as some alpacas (they're wooly llama)

yesterday, I was making the dog herd the alpacas for fun

he loves doing it, and it was interesting to see that he knows the difference between the barn, the shop, the house etc

you could say, Kelsey (dog's name) put the alpaca in the barn, and he would

Kelsey, bring the alpaca to the house (and he would)

smart dog

my dad sent that video out a couple of weeks ago... thought it was freaking awesome. We had a collie as our family dog for most of my childhood. They are awesome dogs, they'll even try to herd children if given the chance.

cool video =)

I had a german shepherd/collie mix for years. When I was younger, I would run around in the backyard and she would herd me towards the middle. When my friend and I ran around, she would herd us both together to get us in the center. Was good times.
Only time it got annoying was when we ran through the sprinklers and she would nip at our heels to keep us where she wanted us.
