yeah but when conan takes over (yay!) they're giving leno a new show in an earlier timeslot, knocking out five hours of programming each week. it's pretty lame.

oh, weird. i thought he'd retire. i like leno /shrug. i don't like his monologues most of the time and he was really bad when i was younger but nowadays he's funnier than letterman i think. and i watch those shows because they're live and some seriously hilarious things can and do go wrong pretty often

like wednesday night on leno there was a big deal with cue cards and he just started reaming the dude holding his cards. he was like "you're watching a man come apart on the air, folks". and then the next day he checks into a hospital and cancels taping? weird

also i dunno if any of you guys watch fallon's late night but i like it. i think after a few months he'll be doin great. i kind of think i only watch it because the roots are his house band tho. and the freestylin' with the roots segments are good enough to sell the whole show imo

Fallon would be funnier if he didn't crack himself up so hard. I laugh at some of my own jokes, but man that guy can't keep a straight face to save his life.

ya i can't stand the bowling thing he does during his monologues and all the times they only laugh because of awkward silence followed by him laughing at his own joke because it bombed on live TV (SNL has dress rehearsals so they can work out bombs before they record it yunno)

but honestly i think he'll prolly be fine after some time. you have to realise this is essentially the first time late night TV has changed since we were born. all the guys doing it right now were probably fallon's age when they started
