Sadly they have a earily similar attitude to a number of posters here. I guess if they didn't have their gun they would have stabbed them all to death, right?

The Houston Chronicle reported that a sign in front of the suspects' home reads: "Trespassers will be shot. Survivers will be reshot!! Smile I will."

Ya know im glad we eliminate personal responsibility and blame the gun.Its not the guns fault that its owner is a complete fucking moron. Also I notice reading that article that it wasnt one of those evil assault weapons or a hand gun . Maybe we need to ban shot guns in america to prevent such horrible things from happening ever again.

Where ya at arlos should we ban shotguns now ?

Exactly why am I getting dragged into this, with the implication I would want to ban guns when everything I have said runs counter to that?

What the problem is here is the attitude that USING the guns for any trivial incident is acceptable, as evidenced by their utterly asinine sign in their front yard. Last I checked, trespassing was *NOT* a capital crime, and even threatening killing someone for it is utterly ridiculous, and indicates to me such a serious lack of sanity that they should be classified the same as any felon or other crazy person and themselves not allowed access to firearms.

I hope they get convicted for murder 1.

Most of the "anti gun" people are not specifically against owning firearms, but want to see very strict regulations on obtaining those firearms. If you are a responsible person without an awful criminal record, then I do not see any issue with the owning of firearms. My issue is with the ease at which one can obtain a firearm and it still be completely legal. I also don't think it should be legal to own an automatic weapon regardless of how strict the requirements are to own one. My feeling towards automatic weapons is simply because I have never once heard a legitimate reason why anyone would need to own one.

One of the biggest issues I have with our current laws is that should these 2 individuals get off on these charges, they will still be able to have and use those firearms any way they please even though they have shown very clearly that they are not responsible owners. Granted if they manage to get off on this, then there is a major problem with our legal system since they shot someone on public property with no cause. This should be a murder 1 case and they should both be dealt with as harshly as the law allows.

There is also not a legitimate reason for someone to NOT own an automatic weapon over that of a semi-automatic weapon.

I'd be more worried about someone owning a .50 cal bolt action rifle over an AK47.

(and holy fuck, that Family Guy episode where they joke about the "right to bear arms" JUST happened while I was typing this. aka the right for everyone to own a pair of bear arms on their mantle lol)

I always liked Robin Williams' suggestion that it was really the right to arm bears.

I think giving a Grizzly a bazooka would turn the tables rather thoroughly, m'self. ;)

I was commenting more on your batman complex where you think it’s ok for you to take the law into your own hands and kill and maim anyone who does you wrong according to your fucked up sense of justice. It’s basically the product of growing up on comic books and not having anyone in your life to tell you when you say something completely moronic. Didn’t you have a story about a cop that told you it was your responsibility to take law into your own hands and you completely agreed with him (even though you normally hate cops)? This is the type of shit I’m talking about. Assbackwards sense of justice plus firearms equals dead kid. It could have easily been you, but you don’t see it that way because you have brain problems.

Well the two most common arguments I hear about not banning firearms or restricting their use is that a) the same result could be achieved with a knife, bat, rag of ether, giant hulk smash glove and b) only evil law breakers use guns and not law abiding citizens. In this case we have two people who likely had a legal registered gun, and would not have been able to run after three people and stab them, bat them, hulk smash them to death, including a child.

I was pointing out the fallacy in your arguments.

seriously, Harrison - the second you start in on insulting someone's spelling, you discredit any worthwhile argument you may have by prefacing it with douchebaggery that has no relevance to the discussion. any number of times, someone could've called you out on your overzealous use of commas; however, most people at least try to contribute to the conversation without playing the role of the 3rd grade teacher.

that said, these people are obviously unstable and would've somehow, some way, someday, donated their white trashisms to society. Zanchief does have a point, though. If it weren't for the gun, their contribution would've been far less severe than the murder of a child. I highly doubt that as stupid as these people are, they could've executed such violence once the innocent face was put to the "crime" of trespassing. It's sure a hell of a lot easier to pull a trigger in the dark than it is to asphyxiate, bludgeon, or stab someone multiple times.

I didn't read this thread, I just skimmed through it

But when I read, "Batman complex," I knew that this is something I have to have. How is one diagnosed with Batman Complex? Is there any special training? Can I self-diagnose?

Do you prowl your neighbourhood with a switchblade looking to stomp on some "niglits"?

Is trespassing a serious enough crime for you to murder someone?

You don't have the complex, Vonk. I'm sorry. It sounds glamorous but you have to develop a deep growly voice that renders any dramatic tension humorous.

There's a great episode of South Park were Cartman dresses up as The Coon (a racoon) which made me think of Harrison because they were basically making fun of people like him.

I can see something similar being done with a bow and arrows. Maybe not easily as far as the number of injuries, but just as deadly and impersonal.

Unfortunately, the only wrong parts to Zanchief's absurd assumptions are the subjects.

I don't prowl around looking for niglits(forgot how he spelled it and I'm on my phone. I don't care enough to go check) with a switchblade.

PLENTY of infestations around here however have "niglits" who would jump you for no better reason than being white in their shithole corner.

I don't leave my house if I plan on being on foot any extended amount of time unarmed though. But trust me when I say that if I was going out in the city for the sole purpose of "stomping niglits" I'd be in jail already. I wouldn't have to look very far unlike where you live.

The ironic part of this amusing derailment is that I've been put in the hospital by said "niglits" whereas I've never done anything to provoke or hurt them in turn. Just because I flaunt the word nigger here to twist you PC faggots' panties up doesn't mean I am a card carrying Klansmen. (much to my own amusement to see you guys cry over letters on a screen though)

Okay, back to blaming inanimate objects for the failings of humanity. That seems more logical lol

I blame blunt objects for my scars and broken bones, not ghetto-dwelling worthless excuses for people. Makes sense.

Niglits is your term not mine, cool guy. I don't know how you spell your silly little words.

All the rest is taken directly from your posts. I’ll go dig up some citations if you’d like.

One

Cops told me if I catch nigglets on the roof of my garage tearing off shingles and throwing them in the yard again to physically throw the worthless fucks off of it.

I love it.

Two

I don't go anywhere without a knife by myself. This is a really, really, shitty area.
