I am at the hospital with my wife until thursday (having a baby) and every single one of my bookmarks, except Gmail and NT are blocked. I looked around for some proxy's but those are naturally blocked as well. Any other ways to get around it?

HTTP tunneling
https://www.torproject.org/overview.html.en It might work for you. Let me know if it doesn't and I'll think up another solution for you. (there's a nifty little addon for firefox for that too!)

Thanks, this works but it is agonizingly slow. It worked to get six pictures up on facebook, which was the primary objective. anything else out there?

Tether your cell phone to your laptop if you have a data plan.

That too, probably the coolest feature of having a phone... The Tor network isn't always slow. Sometimes it's decent. It works better the longer you have it running, even if you're not using it.

That one is a pain in the ass and I was hoping to God no one would ask me to explain it. I use it in conjunction with Tor just to keep it simple. (Vidalia bundle that I linked up there earlier) It has a how to on the site to use it by other means.

i looked at the how-to it involved paying for easy proxy set up, lol all i need is pandora, so it's not a huge amount of motivation to spent a lot of time fighting with it

Did you try using pandora with simply the vidalia bundle and the firefox Torbutton addon?

Tested it myself...they don't allow foreign connections. I kept refreshing to a new chain and it's mainly European sources. That sucks, but it works for megavideo at least.

I'll assume your wife had it natural, so you can give her a hard time about tucks /lol. And those nice mesh diapers they have to wear (well not "have to" but either way :p).

She had a C-section. Scheduled, not emergency. Her pelvic opening was too narrow and the baby wasn't in the right position. We named her Hailey Elizabeth Ames.
