Might be in the NYC area for NYE.
Anybody interested in getting together for a drink or two?
Not set in stone yet and not sure exactly where I'm staying (current possibilities are: New Canaan CT, Boonton NJ, or Woodstock, NY).

I'm pretty sick and plan on staying home for New Years. How long will you be in the area?

A day or two tops. Heading out tomorrow or Wednesday and staying for a day or two. Leaving Saturday at the very latest.

If you hit Central NY give me a heads up. NYC is too far from me.

I rarely if ever head towards Syracuse, more often I'm around Crotchester & Buffalo when I'm in Western NY =\
Might put together a vacation near Warsaw, NY for Spring Break; more than enough room at the lake house if anybody wanted to join.
Only real costs would be food, drinks, and gas unless we went for a boat rental/trip to Letchworth.

Re: Might be in the NYC area for NYE.
Let me set it up for after Spring Quarter, early/mid June?
The place isn't fully heated/insulated and can be pretty nasty cold through May.
I figure I can fit at least 10 people in it without sharing beds and not sleeping on couches. 2 beds downstairs share a room & the four in the attic are dormitory style.
I'd like to get up there a few times this year; my Hobie has been languishing away and I need to patch the fiberglass on the front end (one too many landings on a rocky beach).

Seriously, I just got through my 3 month period at my new job so I actually acrue paid time off now - and I live in Siberiacuse so I am sure I can handle a cold cabin. I will just bring my Akita for warmth, and if we run out of food we can just cook and eat her.

Or we could just cook and eat Harrison. I can't imagine that'd be much worse than what he's already gone through.
