Auto-Login

Ever since another forum I frequent moved to phpBB, NT here fails to retain my login credentials and now anytime I go to this site, I have to log back on.

Feature, bug, ??? ???

Dunno. Works for me. What browser are you using? Is the issue persistent across multiple browser types (ie, firefox, chrome, etc)? Have you tried clearing the browser cache and stored logins, etc. to reset the situation,and then try and get NT to save it?

This wasn't a problem until another board I frequent migrated to what appears to be the exact same web server product / phpBB.

No other updates have been done locallly, I'm running winxp and ie7.

Well, it's not a general issue, I know that, so it's got to be something at your end.

Have you tried installing Firefox and/or Chrome or Safari and see if they have the same issues?

Have you cleared out all of the cache, temporary files and stored login information in IE before connecting, and see if that makes a difference?

IE6 is far superior to IE7.
