I would get this over the iPad considering it folds in half and you can actually walk around with it without looking like a complete tool.

coming from working in an office environment where we all carried little books AND laptops and PDA and blackberry etc, that would be awesome

I hadn't heard of this either. What about the HP Slate? Any opinions one way or the other?

The slate is in the same boat as the iPad. It's just too big. This thing is 5X7 when folded in half, weighs less than 1 pound and does everything the iPad does and more (flash and camera for starters).

The iPad is a joke. I expected a lot more from Apple. It's just a big iTouch.

basically it's the ipad with web cam, another camera and some expansion slots

i think the hp slate is better, but you'll never convince an apple fanboi
