Sorry for the thread resurrection! As of a week or so ago, the following Old CT members are playing on Project1999: Jesilynn as Jesilynn; Vyvian as Mikhaila (I forget their character names offhand), Simollardes and Me! (as Nyxxe; no cleric this time)

I seriously forgot how much more difficult EQ was than WoW. I went bouncing out of Neriak and tried to attack a yellow con mob with just my starting dagger and my 1 little offensive spell. Well it didn't go so well. Add in early levels with no cash, not all my spells and corpse runs....I love it :p It'll probably lose it's appeal fairly fast but while waiting for yet another WoW expansion, it's something to do. Plus it's free.

After putting in unhealthy amounts of effort in my spare time on this server I am stalled out because a guild has turned raiding into camping raid encounters rather than mobilizing like we all did back in the day.

I'll start playing again when Kunark draws near. Without a raid scene I have no desire to play with my characters.

I like camping Frenzy for 14hours and no spawn. 9 silversilk leggings in one sitting on Arch Magi. 8 skullshaped barbutes in one sitting at Lord. Spawns and droprate seems shitty on this server. I did LGuk once before kunark and the rest after kunark on live servers and it was never this bad.

Oh and just a heads up, Uthgaard is more retarded then Guides/GMs on live servers. Dumbass keeps whining about how petitions keeps him away from testing kunark when he spends half his time in EC showing off.
