Windows 7 bootcamp question?

I am losing my freeging mind. I am working on installing the bootcamp stuff on this mac so I can play windows games and stuffz and I am so close. I went to wal mart as a matter of fact and bought a copy of windows 7. Now, I got everything installed except it is now telling me my product key is invalid. Son of a bitch. Ive sat here for an hour looking at it and cant figure out why. Even got 2 other people to check the key to make sure I didnt forget how to read. Anyone ever heard of this happening? Straight out of the box shitty product key? This is gay

Yeah, a number comes up when you try to activate it. Call it. There's an automated thing that takes like 5 min.
