rofl, you know, if you had gone to the football pundits before the season, and told them with absolute certainty that the game would be between a 5-0 team and a 4-1 team, their heads would have assploded.

They won't win their division and that team does not strike fear into other teams heart. I could be wrong but if the Skins break .500 I'll be surprised. I don't see them in the better half of teams in the NFL.

How'd they do against Dallas, again? I stand by my Skins statement, although Haslett has their D playing excellent as he usually does. Beating Arizona and St Lous ain't exactly a huge accomplishment.

I also made the wrong assumption that Philly would be a better team than they were, and the Giants/Eli would also be better.

I'll be glad to make a wager about the Skins making the playoffs if you want.

Yes the Skins lost to Dallas, but can you say they were blown out or looked bad? They have been playing good football all year and, unlike you, I see them in the better half of the NFL this year.

I'm not such a homer that I think they'll make the playoffs. But I'll glady make a wager on your claim that they will end the season worse than .500.

I'm not sure I'll make the .500 bet due to their strength of schedule. The fact they beat the two worst teams in the league doesn't really do much for me on how good they are. Their schedule is very forgiving, and if the Giants continue to slide, and Philly remains mediocre I think they could win the playoffs.

Week 6 Philly - Winnable with how the Skins D is playing.
Week 7 at Carolina - Winnable even though Carolina is a decent team
Week 8 at Buffalo - Probably will lose this.
Week 9 San Fran - probably will lose this
Week 10 at Mia - very winnable
Week 11 Dallas - probably will lose
Week 12 at Sea - Probably will win
Week 13 Jets - lose
Week 14 NE - lose
Week 15 at NYG - probably lose
Week 16 Minnesota - probably lose

That put's them at 8-8. They are playing 5 teams with the worst records in the NFL.Not a good bet. I do think the paper tiger analogy was a bit too much. They are playing good, well coached football. They can pretty much play with anyone. I also don't think they really strike fear in anyone, though.
