Well well well. CBO has an interesting report, showing that in JUST Q1 of this year, the Stimulus added between 1.2 and 3.3 MILLION new jobs. That's just 3 months, people.

I would say that this should put to bed the false trope about "The Stimulus was complete waste and didn't do anything!", but I have vivid evidence about how completely many on the right refuse to acknowledge reality, even when it comes up and kicks them in the nuts. So, given that people still haven't given up on birtherism yet, I am guessing a CBO report won't intrude into their happy place at all.
For those who actually reside on Earth, though, that's a pretty persuasive set of results.

They go into their modeling methodology within the report. I am not a statistics wonk, so I haven't examined their numbers and methodology in depth, but that's exactly the kind of study they do all the time, and they are pretty widely respected, so I'm willing to take it on some faith.
