Merry CHRISTmas everybody!

Post by Narrock »

It's off to the oral surgeon for a root canal and a bridge... lol. If I'm not back on before CHRISTmas, have a Merry CHRISTmas and a safe weekend! Watch out for drunks on the road. Peace.

i like winter solstice because it means the days are going to start getting longer from here on out. winter kind of sucks for being able to go outside and do stuff. (however, that does not mean i have any good will toward summer; that awful season can fuck itself and die.)

I guess you would know better being in that industry... :). Allow me to clarify. My dentist, upon examining the remains of my tooth #30 a couple weeks ago, was undecided if he was going to work on my tooth, or send me to the oral surgeon. I had all kinds of bad things going on with that tooth, like: It was cracked so bad that it was unsaveable, he saw an infection near the root so he put me on an antibiotic called "Keflex" and some other issues. Well, last Thursday he decided to go ahead and do the work himself rather than sending me to the oral surgeon. End result was that the procedure was a success. I did have a benign cyst growing on one root which was causing the infection. He extracted both roots, sutured up the hole, and took a mold of that area to get fitted for a bridge. I have a temporary bridge in now, and the permanent bridge should be ready first week of January. I'm on Keflex to dry up the infection, and alternating between Ibuprofen and Vicodin for pain. This mofakka hurts! lol. What sucks is that I've always taken good care of my teeth... brushing twice a day, flossing, using Crest Complete teeth care, etc. Where I failed (I'm guessing) is that I was never on a regular 6-month professional cleaning regimen.
Painful lesson learned. lol
