i still play diablo 2 with a few buddies on a regular basis on the ladder going for ubers etc. i think it's probably one of the best games ever made. i love that they still patch it and keep it up to date. so i really hope they don't fuck diablo 3 up. i always hate it when games remove/change classes so i'm dubious, and i've got a strong hate for WoW and hope the overall feel of the game isn't cartoony and shitty

lord. so i have one month until i become a videogame widow yet again? ha.

josh and his buddies have been running through diablo 1 and 2 this month to get ramped up for the new release. dorks. otherwise his games of choice lately have been league of legends (which i detest) and phantasy star 2 and shining force 2 on a sega emulator, which is really fun because i like to watch him play.

I played Shining Force 1 and 2 about 2 years ago. They're awesome.

i think i prefer phantasy star in terms of what's more fun to watch someone else play. shining force 2 is cool but the turn-based battle style is kind of killing me. plus a lot of the sound effects are really obnoxious. i like centaurs, though!

diablo 1 was more fun on PSone imo. im sure it'll port really well...... torchlight is basically a diablo game, too, and it was a lot of fun on console

I played a lot of Sacred 2 on PS3. It was always lacking a little something with the controller though. It was fun, but still never the full experience.

I can't see paying 60 bucks for Diablo 3 after playing beta. It's a good product, but I'll bet Reckoning is a better overall game. I only paid 30 bucks for Reckoning.

After DS, Skyrim, and Reckoning, I'm almost to the point where I prefer playing RPGs with controllers.
