And yet another /facepalm... Things are actually looking good for Romney. I'm baffled that you want obummer to win. Your life will get better with Romney as prez. You will see less income tax on your paycheck which will result in greater net pay, the economy will start to increase rapidly, the National debt will get greatly reduced, gas prices at the pump will go down and stay down, unemployment will be greatly reduced, and we will once again be the envy of the world, and be respected globally again. Or, we might continue to get boom-bust cycles that are a standard feature over the life of a free-market economic system and would continue to cycle up and down regardless of any one person holding a political office.

If someone wants to belive there's a toggle switch hidden somewhere in the Oval Office that controls the economy, I guess they're free to do so.

It sure will be a relief when Romney steps in and flips that switch back to boom -- I'm as eager for the overnight change in the economy as anyone.

On the other hand, I guess if Obama wins, then over the next four years either the country will either be unrecognizable or will have ceased to exist.

I just want to be on record as accurately describing the above two outcomes -- which are the only possible outcomes, correct?

That's part of the problem -- I already know what I would hear from the the two most extreme sides of the coin.

The moderate, well-reasoned, politically unaffiliated views are the ones that get drowned out in the surrounding cacophony of political rhetoric by the extremists with the loudest voices.

Not really any different than any other election. SSDD.
