The people from the 20 states who petitioned to secede did so out of LOVE for America, and hate to see the direction it's going. These are not nutjob racists, bigots, and homophobes. As an aside, I wanted to post this meme I saw that was in response to the self-important whining on Fox news when Romney lost. You know, where they were decrying the fact that America is no longer as completely whites-dominated, where Bill Orally was complaining about minorities, etc...
idiots from texas like to say they have a special clause in their annexation contract that says they can secede if they want to
which is actually untrue (hey, they're idiots, what do you expect)
what IS in texas's annexation contract is that TX has the right to split itself into as many as five individual states - and it requires no outside permission to do so, just an act of its state legislature
raises all sorts of interesting scenarios
of course my opinion is that any dickhead petitioning for secession should have their citizenship stripped and they should be booted out of the country, but that's just me

. There's nothing wrong with minorities. There's just a large percentage of them who are agenda-driven and think of white Americans as evil people. That kind of devisiveness isn't helping anybody. Obummer has a little of this ignorant mindset too.
