runs for reelection
gets beat Nov 6 by a large enough margin so as not to trigger automatic recount
ballot results get certified
but he refuses to concede
instead, throws leftover campaign $ into a lawsuit to force a recount
recount results show an even bigger margin of loss
recount results re-certified
still refuses to admit loss
brings up two points:
1. why does it matter? does the local election commission seriously not have the power to just say "bro you're done, deal w/ it" and must instead wait for him to concede? how is this even still a thing
