Holy shit. You come up with the most mind-boggling SHIT I've ever heard. Our 2nd Amendment rights are to protect us from government. And now, more than ever before, is this right of paramount importance. It's none of your fucking business WHY someone wants an assault rifle. It's probably as simple an explanation as "they look cool" but none of your business nonetheless. And I've got news for you chump... Any rifle that is not a bolt-action single shot rifle is a semi-automatic rifle, whicj basically means as-fast-as-you-can-pull-the-trigger. Look at the Ruger mini 14. It is far from being an "assault rifle" and also shoots the .223 round. In fact the mini 14 is considered a ranch rifle to control varmints. And there are dozens of different rifles that take the .223 round that dont look like an "assault rifle.". If the government bans a gun because of what it looks like, what will they ban next? It's giving them a foothold to use the banhammer on whatever they want. What we need to do as a society is to give people who exhibit abnormal behavior the help they need to get straightened out by mental health professionals before they do use a gun, a bat, a hammer, a knife, etc etc etc to harm other people. The old adage is 100% true: Guns don't kill people... People kill people.
