Most insane thing I've heard in awhile. It's actually a good barometer for the attitude of society.
The cynic immediately jumps on the story about how dumb it is, how could someone not know etc
The sympathetic can realize that if the guy is truly this great guy that has no inhibitions about the cruelty of humans, how he could get wrapped up in it and feel sorry for him.
We are a reality show society though and enjoy dumpster fires so are all scooted up to the TV with popcorn waiting to see what facts come out next.
Heck I'm a huge ND fan and wonder how you can claim deep emotional relationship with someone without ever seeing them face to face. Really bizarre.
