Been packing for a week. Fuckin' A. I got rid of about 50 boxes of records and still have about 70.
New house is amazing (except for the shitty internet). Looking forward to having a view and some land. Might even buy an ATV if we end up liking it out there. Definitely getting a shotgun.

Thanks all! It's a rental but it's a choice one, for sure! Finally got interweb hooked up. It's not as bad as I was thinking it would be but still an adjustment. We can stream Netflix, Amazon, etc NP. No stutters. Good enough for now.
Not only did I move this week but I started my new job as well. It's totally square. There isn't even a person trying to be cool there. They all gave up and accepted their squareness decades ago. I do have one friend that took a job there as an analyst of some sort but the IT department is all L7. Oh well. I'll just have to keep to myself, put in my 20 years and retire, I guess. The benefits and pay more than make up for it. I also found out that the new union contract goes in to place end of August. Grats 3% raise already!
