I'll have to play on PS4. Anyone ever play MMO on console? Does it suck as bad as i would imagine? Guessing i could get a mouse and keyboard to play with.

A streamer I follow was just invited to SOE for the weekend and hung out with Smedley and co.
He says sitting in on a design meeting with devs, seeing some stuff, etc. that as an oldschool EQ vet, he's ridiculously excited for this.
I know he could just be saying it for advertising reasons, as that's his bread and butter but, I'm hoping he wouldn't just say it for the sake of doing so. I got to sit and shoot the shit with Smedley (and hundreds of others) while the guy opened a swag bag full of SOE related awesomeness.
Anyone still holding out a glimmer of hope for EQ Next not being complete rehashed MMORPG trash?

I'm hoping, but I won't be playing at launch. I'll wait a while for bugs to be cleaned up and to see how things settle.
