Got out of Akanon! Rolling a Gnome enchanter named Kamin. I'm having a really hard time getting used to this game. UI is driving me nuts.

Enchanters can roll, though, once you get charm.I'll try and nab you some gear and a few plat, Zan. I didn't play much yesterday as I had a ton of work then watched Sons of Anarchy which I had TIVOed.

I made a gnome mage last night and a passing by druid gave me a thorn shield so i went and tagged kobolds in little huts and got to level 3.5 in the 5 min it took for that shiled to fall.

Some fucker stole my name and I couldn't make Ganzo, so I made female gnome Ganziella. Was only on for about 30 min last night though. Tonight is the eve of Yom Kippur so I may or may not play, same for tomorrow's day but I might log on on Sunday.

If I can figure out how to get past the 'spells_us.txt' error, I'll try and logon sometime. I've recreated my halfling druid, though he has a DE mask and Mistwalker... so even more badass than I was before (hard to believe, right? right? guys?). I haven't been on P99 in over a year, and I'm sure it'll be painful with my terrible ISP. But I could at the very least PL some of you and/or hand out a few hundred PP. Because I'm rich like that.

Besides my Shaman who is 46 I have a level 6 Ranger I was fooling around with some. I'd like to level a Wizard, too.

The hybrid exp penalty really sucks and it stacks with groups so they lose exp while grouping with one.Team gnome with no hybrids would rocket through the levels:
Warrior, Cleric, Enchanter, Wizard, and Rogue. It'd be fun to have a dedicated dungeon group. I'd actually play any of those classes.

One of my friends is a loser and decided to break the Gnome pact. He's a wood elf druid.

So our group right now is Necro, Enchanter, Druid. With Ganzo (Mage) and your Ranger, we just need a cleric (as always). Or a tank if you were to play a cleric.

Also for the exp penalty, it's the exactly the group that takes the penalty. The exp is shared amongst the group based on the total amount of exp each person has accumulated. So if you have gotten more exp you will take up a bigger piece of the shared exp.

Example.

Cleric is lvl 10 and has accumulated 10,000exp
Shadow Knight is lvl 9 and has accumulated 11,000exp
Druid is lvl 10 and has accumulated 9,000exp.

When a mob is killed the exp is shared by the percentage of a person exp version the total exp of the party.

Cleric gets 10,000 / 30,000 or 33.33% of the exp
Shadow Knight gets 11,000 / 30,000 or 36.67% of the exp
Druid gets 9,000 / 30,000 or 30% of the exp

So the penalty isn't exactly shared by the group, but a hybrid of the same lvl will take more exp from the group then say a halfing warrior.

What would be fun would be a group to just hit dungeons together once in a while. I'd love to go through all the dungeons in EQ with a set team. It'd be pretty easy with the amount of knowledge of the game we all have. Doesn't have to be all gnome, but just the same level and with a plan.

My shaman is mainly to solo and farm stuff and for nostalgia. The game is all about the groups for me, though.

Tikker is a rogue and my bro is a Necro.

We would need a tank (SK or Warrior would work as a gnome), and another friend is a Druid (not Gnome because he is a terrible person).

We could easily roll out a full group.

If Lyion makes a tank we're pretty much set for core classes. Make what ever you'd like.

I'd be down for a warrior. Thats the only option, right? Gonna set up computer n install this bullshit today. Hopefully i'm just spacing and it's already installed

You can't run the patcher from a fully installed game. You need to run in from Titanium.

Well, I plan on going a team gnome full group. I figure if we can get 4+ we can do dungeons a night or two a week.

I'm still working on Ledd my Shaman mainly. If Drem wants to be a Warrior, I'll do a Gnome Wizard or SK. If he wants to be an SK, I can do a Warrior. We definitely will need two tanks.

We're pretty much dependent on the Cleric and Enchanter and a Tank, so might be good to have more than one of each of those

The more the merrier. Be awesome if we had two full groups of gnomes. We'd really need to setup a range of good playtimes for people and just try to do our thing during those times. This is totally casual and for fun. I'll try to twink us as well as I can with my Shaman.

We'll be set for Velious and the Gnome invasion~.

Just realised there is no Gnome SK yet in this expansion so your only option is a warrior
