Killed the fungus king with tuggan for a while last night while wiating for my girl to get home with her comp so i could 2 box proper. Didnt get one to drop but to me it was cool to have the camp for a while. Trak wasnt up but went and visited where hes sposed to be. Not quite rdy for a big encounter yet so prolly gonna go sight seeing in chardok next. I never got much further than the gates when iplayed with myself and would like to see the rest of the zone. Start trying to see what all i can take down once i get past lvl 70.

While our end game may be very competitive, I have heard many positive stories of the kindness and welcoming behavors present at low and mid levels of our community. Now is a great time to get started, as Velious is soon on the horizon. I have decided to enable a 50% EXP Bonus on both servers as a welcome to any new players. This bonus will last until later this week, at which point it will bump down to a 20% Bonus, and then back up to 50% again when the EQMac server officially closes on November 18th.

As much as I hate P99 and its population, they weren't the cause.

There was a lot of rampant hacking there before P99 residents flocked there once they found out how corrupt P99 was.

It didn't help certainly but, it wasn't the cause.

I really should have leveled a Druid first to farm and help power people. I've actually spent a good chunk of time exploring old dungeons and powering people. The Shaman doesn't power nearly as well as a Druid, though.

Really hard for me to play "normal" hours. Mostly playing midnight to 4 or 5am pacificafter work while i watch the baby so my wife can sleep. Also still playing the everloving shit out of gta v. I put everyone from current players on the friends list, maybe i'll see y'all around

There's a good chunk of Euro players on P99, Drem. I occasionally work odd hours, and I've noticed there still are people on the server.

Server is very busy now at all lvls. Easy to find groups. Many zones are overcrowded (a big change from live).

50+ will be so much easier with Velious. Not to mention new gear and raiding spots. The raiding scene really is awful on P99. There's just way too much competition, and not enough things to do.

A friend of mine was saying the top guilds just have a set of 60s they buff and camp right outside raid mobs and just wait for them to spawn, log them in and kill them immediately.

That made me sad.

On Monday, November 11th, starting around 11 PM ET, The EQEmulator Website, Project 1999 Website, Project 1999 Game Servers, and the PEQ Game Server will be going offline. The servers are expected to be down for approximately 12 hours.

During this time the Loginserver will remain running off of a read only copy of the user database.
