WoW people, next patch

Here’s a quick update on some of the stuff we’re working on for next patch:

Hunter Class
Gnomish and Goblin Engineering
Ungoro Crater (48-55 Zone)
Felwood (48-55 Zone)
Burning Steppes (50-58 Zone)
Blackrock Depths (48-56 Dungeon)
Rogue Talents
Priest Talents
Auction House Improvements
Deathstalker Vincent is finally laid to rest
Lots of other things!

Some of this stuff may or may not be included in the patch, but it’s all being worked on. Don’t send the lynch mob after me if we hold some of the content =P

Oh, and here’s one the PvP server folks will like:

Faction specific graveyards. If you’re Horde and you die in Hillsbrad you’ll end up in Tarren Mill. Alliance will go to Southshore.

We’re also doing tons of bug fixing and optimization.

Ok, enough trolling for me. Back to work!

Good stuff, thanks Taxx. That PVP change is nice, but they need to do a lot more

Remember Ultimus from Sanct? I just found out he plays a warlock on the beta server named Ultimus.

Yeah, there seems to be a ton of EQ guys.

I liked Ultimus, but he had the same problem so many EQ players did: Loot Whoredom.

We need to get a set group from the old Sanct/FOW/Euph daze together in WOW, man. Preferably without people who freaked about loot.

I also do herbalism and alchemy, you do leatherwork, skinning, tailoring, so your overhead is alot higher than mine. I just need vials which cost 2cp, you need all that other stuff.

Oh, and your favorite passtime is the auction house to buy gear, while I wait for it to drop or to win it in a quest.

I'll say this again...whenever they actually give me a quest for a dagger that is better than the level 1 you get for free then I won't buy one at auction. Actually the ONLY thing I've bought at auction was a few stacks of linen. The two daggers i'm using I bought off vendors since we NEVER get any to drop.

Most other companies do not start betaing this early and with this small a number.

The Beta servers usually have around 2k total on them primetime. I don't think there are that many that have been invited, out of the 2 Mil that signed up.

Remember, you're competing with the monstrous B.net crowd, in addition ton the EQ and DAOCers.

The fact that I was invited to beta shows their screening isn't too strenuous...

That or Tigole, Ariel, and Draed notated my character and follow me around instakilling me for fun.

I always wondered why I was the only character hit by those insta 5k lightning strikes....

There's some, but the beta seems more mature than EQ, at least on the carebear server.
