Just a tip, don't bother burning those CDs. Just download a virtual CD application and mount the image files.

I didn't know how to do that so I just burned the files onto CDs (not a big deal I have a hundred blanks) and I installed them. Now, the instructions say to not patch the game, or you have to delete the files and reinstall. I see an EQ icon on my desktop but I can't find the program files in my hard drive so I can delete: arena.eqg, arena_environmentemitters.txt, lavastorm.eqg, nektulos.eqg, and nektulos_environmentemitters.txt. I must've missed a step. How do I finish this up so I can launch the game and play? Thx

I'd guess they probably are under c:\Program Files\Sony.. or something like that.

You can always reinstall and make the installation go to c:\everquest

P99 has a pretty good patcher which will update your files for you, if memory serves.
