Now i know that we are in the world of nonsense here but you dont think saying hey yo were gonna make everyone sterile but the wealthy ( when we talk bout people who shouldnt have kids this is what we mean) wouldnt cause open revolt ?

I poked you becuase anytime someone wants to make a law about something theres gonna be a bureaucracy to over see it and ultimately guys with guns to enforce it forced sterility forced abortions or snatching peoples kids up and away would prolly be a lot worse than the current system we have.

I'm with Spazz on this. I get there are plenty of shitty parents out there, but you're basically going to penalize poor people who have less to offer. I'm all for government control, and that is way too out there for me.

Tikker's my guy and all but he also believes in the occasional culling and once rammed his car into someone because they pissed him off.

me and the lady got to see Bernie speak in iowa on friday, it was really remarkable to listen to an entire campaign speech and not hear one SINGLE thing i don't agree with

if he ends up getting elected* we will come to remember american history prior to january 2017 as "Before Bernie" as in "jesus, remember when we used to let banks control everything? remember when we used to let rich people write all the legislation and buy airtime for their favorite candidates? fuck, remember when we had dozens of F-35s whose machine guns wouldn't even fire but we couldn't scrape together enough tax money to make sure our own veterans didn't starve on the streets or die of easily preventable health problems?" "oh man yeah, shit was real stupid Before Bernie"

but le sigh, america is too stupid to elect him, we'll just end up settling for hillary and nothing at all will change (or worse, we'll falcon-punch ourselves in the dicks and elect yet another bush, hastening the coming economic civil war)

*yes i realize that such conjecture is pointless, because even if by some miracle Bernie does land in the white house those cockdrips in congress wouldn't let him pass anything anyway

Let's do one better, and take the babymaking out of people's hands. Oh, let's implement carousel once anyone reaches 30 years old to combat global warming and overpopulation concerns, too

I do think birth control should be mandatory for girls from 10 to 21, with the option for an opt out. How nice would it be for there to be next to no unwanted pregnancies or abortions? We'd be left with just the Mengele eugenics style abortions that we currently have.

Back on track, I love Bernie Sanders and my pipe dream would be an election campaign of Sanders vs Paul with substantive debate and reform with meaningful change that will actually help people.

Realistically, we'll get mega money backed Clinton vs Bush with a whole host of fake issues that do nothing to help people, and continue to import slave India IT workers and export more manufacturing and white collar jobs.

That was my first time on that site this cycle. I think perhaps I matched so well because I acutely payed attention to the 'how much do you care about this' slider. We share interests on most everything, but there were a few areas that registered more of a 'meh' than others. He and I are staunch death-penalty abolitionists, and we also see eye to eye on drug-laws, a woman's body, and gun control. I don't care much about immigration but I'm sure it'll be a big play next year.

Also, getting a single iota of similarity to Ted Cruz was more than sufficient at making my skin crawl.

My views are the same as they were 10 years ago on just about every issue. I remain anti death penalty, pro life, social libertarian, pro social safety net, anti big government, pro private union, and firmly against the second amendment. I'd like to think I'm a little wiser and more compassionate, but again that may or may not be true. I'm certainly more jaded, especially about politicians.

My reasons for liking Sanders as Brinstar rightly implied are far different from most people here. Not sure I agree with this site. The questions are extremely generic and not very accurate, but I'm amused Bernie is sandwiched between Cruz and Santorum.

I'd argue we are currently in the middle of an Internet based revolution. In the 90s the only way someone could enact change would be to have Ross Perot style money. Our biggest impediment is our government was not designed for Federalism, but has marched inexorably more towards the unitary executive issues we currently have with the Justice Department and Federal courts ruling the country with the policies of whomever is elected instead of following the law of the land as intended. Congress loses power each year, and really that's our elected body.

Anyways, let me know when you get rid of your monarchy and man up, like we did 200+ years ago. :2m16:

Hit the site and take the test. I loathe Cruz and I'm not a big fan of Santorum although I like his pro labor policies. It's really bad in regards to the GOP side, and not really fair on the DNC side either.

I do believe in protecting the unborn, which is probably why I get so high with some of the ding dongs. Middle and late term abortions are just really not up for debate for me, although I agree with every and any form of birth control and while I feel first term abortion should be protected, I dislike our culture of 'death' and eugenics. I'm not pro religion in government at all. The reverse is very much true. I've been pro libertarian on marriage for a long time, and feel the Government has no business in either. Nor the reverse, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

I am not pro illegal immigration, although not Draconian either. The migrant workers in Texas and California are not the problem in America, but another wedge issue to try and bring voters to the table on both sides.

I totally agree. The government should have just fucked off on marriage entirely instead of legally changing it. Many disagree with me on this. Find a church that will marry you and you're married. Plenty will do it. Government shouldn't care one way or the other, but straight people seem to get pretty peeved with the idea of changing the status of their marriage, in the governments eyes at least.
