My best friend of 25yrs died of cancer at age 43 in July. City shut down my warehouse in February. I got my first ever DUI in April and took it all the way to jury trial, was found not guilty of driving under the influence yet I was still guilty of driving over .08 because the judge would not allow ANY evidence that proved the test was inaccurate. My dog spontaneously went blind overnight in May. His retinas just turned off at five years old. He's coping fine but the initial shock of it is still lingering. The celebrity deaths are not lost on me but were not the reason why the year sucked. The most ignorant, embarrassment I could possibly imagine is about to be sworn in to office when we could have had THIS person.
