I'll probably pick one up this Friday... I keep reading more and more reviews about it... It's amazing how much technology has changed in the past 6 months 8(.

Probably... I'm planning on wiping my system and starting fresh when I do it... maximize the performance increase. I don't know if you'd consider it a $300 increase, but... you should be able to sell that 9700 for at least $100, so... go for it.

I have several P4 1.5 and 2.0 boxes that'll inherit that. I'll just buy a new card and use it.

However, if my performance gain is limited by my CPU/System I'll go ahead and wait and get a whole new box.
