Morrowind?

Post by Malluas »

anyone play this? Is it good, anything like EQ?

I was just kinda lookin at it. And it seems there is more items to get than DS or Diablo.

Any real info on it would be nice. Seems to be a pretty huge game. But i don't really kno hehe.

It's fun for the first few hours. If you go through the ton of quests available, it could last you some time (that is if you are looking for a timesink). Unfortunately, it gets quite easy..fairly quickly.

You gain skills like you would in EQ (ie. Repetitive usage). Which is something, I've always liked..

Mind you, I haven't played this game for a year+. I've heard there are some mods which can make the game pretty cool.

Welcome to the new millenium. It's August 3, 2004 and Doom III just came out. How do you do?

A lot of people love it... I played it solid for about a month... initially enjoyed it but eventually got bored. It gives you the feel of a mmorpg... similar depth, but everything was WAY too easy for me. After the first few levels, I basically never worried about dying. That kinda sucked. Everyone says that I should have played a mage instead... but... I just stole everything I saw, killed people that pissed me off... was fun for a while.

Yeah, the initial few moments of thieving items was pretty cool. Then it got lame when you realized it was so easy to exploit. :|

vicodin loves me and I love vicodin

It's pretty deep... the world is probably as large as old-school EQ... maybe bigger. You'll probably like it at first and then get bored. It seems that nobody ever says that they initially hated it.

I initially hated it=(

But I've got the urge lately to reinstall it. I watched this game for 6 months before release and counted down the days. Woke up early the day it came out and bought it, installed and proceeded to cry.

hehe i loved the old school EQ.

Believe me the boredom isn't a prob with me. I just will switch games and come back a month later.

How about items, and named mobs and such? I saw pairs of bracers and pauldrons and stuff.

Just wondering cause i have 30 bucks to spend so... 30 bucks that don't go to hydraulics for my car that is hehe

unless you have a pretty powerful machine, the graphics get kinda choppy

other than that it's a pretty good single player RPG

the one thing that pissed me off the most about it though is having to fucking run everywhere
