There is nothing to argue, *I* do not find her avatar offensive, but I also used to have a lesbian avatar. I never said I was offended by it. I am simply stating what your rules say, and how it can be constrewed that her avatar is adult material, which is not allowed in your rules.

I received a complaint for your avatar... within days of it appearing. This was more my fault than yours since it was an avatar that I uploaded into the gallery. I didn't think people would mind, but they did. Azlana has had hers up for months and I've seen no complaints. You two are acting like fucking children. "Billy ate cookies too! Why didn't he get in trouble?" I expect that from Taxx. He'd complain about the color of the sky if it was administered by NT.

At what level do I draw the line? I shouldn't have to. So, I leave it to popular consensus. If I get a complaint, and I can reasonably understand the basis OF the complaint (if someone was offended by Silvestra's Shrek avatar, fuck off), I'll change it. Popular consensus = complaints. If someone makes 300 posts with an avatar and I get no complaints, it's golden. If someone makes 20 posts before I get a complaint... I'll look into it.
There isn't any chest-thumping. We are simply trying to make NT a better place to play... maybe even a friendlier place to play. The new 'play-nice' rule is SOOOO common among message-boards, it's surprising that it took us this long to adopt it. Taxx has broken the two FIRST rules of NT (4+ years old) in probably 95% of his posts.
I don't need to get sooo specific with the rules to cover ANY and ALL possible infractions. I have to keep it generic and use my best judgement for the gray areas. I can see why people would have complained about Silvestra's avatar, so I removed it. She and I were 'friends' at that time and SHE DIDN'T complain to me over it's removal. She's only complaining about it NOW because she's a different person than back then.
